Optus O Pavilion

In a post-pandemic world, Optus’ Macquarie Park Campus reconsiders how a workplace can function when shaped by Country, climate and sustainability.

Optus engaged Taylor Brammer, in collaboration with Architectus and BALARINJI, to deliver a campus guided by the cultural heritage of the Wallumadegal people. The design integrates leading biophilic principles, sustainability and the latest technology.

At the heart of the campus wide revitalisation sits the O Pavilion, connected by a timber spine of flexible workspaces that engage with the ecology of the broader landscape experience. The exposed design is in dialogue with seasonal changes and supports a range of activations extending into the central courtyard - the O Lawn.
