Wagga Wagga Base Hospital

Wagga Wagga as a major regional hospital required a major extension which included the provision of a range of external patient, visitor and staff spaces.

The landscape design embraced the principles of an integrated approach to the overall care strategies for the hospital including patient, visitor and staff requirements. Detailed design created specific outcomes for the major entry, paediatrics, contemplation courtyard and staff breakout zones.

Use of natural materials, site specific planting and seating areas form destinations through the creation of specific design goals and outcomes that relate to the regional themes of Wagga Wagga. The outcomes have resulted in vibrant and memorable outcomes that combine community aspirations and incorporated specific medical treatment zones.
