James has gained experience studying and working internationally in locations including London and England, France, Spain, Seattle, New Zealand and Melbourne. This international experience has reinforced his philosophy in the creation of environments that implement sustainable initiatives and in so doing capture opportunities for diversity in experiences, habitat and a sense of place that emphasises the uniqueness of each environment. James is particularly skilled at construction documentation and detailed design and has a talent for plant selection, creative design and planting schemes. His unique landscape solutions have been recognised through a number of Royal Horticultural Society Medals, AILA and UDIA Awards.
