Winner of 2023 UDIA NSW Award for Excellence in Aged Care, The Glenmore Park Care Community by Opal Healthcare, is a modern 143 bed facility providing high quality residential aged care services. Located in Glenmore Park at the foot of the Blue Mountains and nestled near the peaceful parklands and waterways of Glenmore Loch, the design approach integrates native topology with purpose driven design.
Internal courtyards to the proposal provide visual and physical activity, seasonal interest, and a breakout space for residents, families, and staff alike. Each internal courtyard is of a unique character which encourages interaction and activation in a calm landscape setting suitable to the needs of the residents.
